    Thank you for this plugin!
    How can I show a search form above the categories, is there a shortcode which can be used?

    Hi,

    If you want a search form that searches for categories, you can use for example the WP Extended Search plugin. It seems this plugin has its own shortcode so you can use that one to display the form above the categories list.
