    Hi,

I’m having an issue where if I plug in a search term in the general WordPress Search form above the list of events in the Events area of the WordPress admin area, it returns no results. The search form works for regular posts. Is there a setting I need to adjust to make Events searchable via the general WordPress search?

    Thanks,
    Anne

  • Hi Anne,

Do you have “Include in WordPress Searches” set to Yes under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives?

Yes, it is set to Yes.

And the issue persists, just to be clear.

    Thanks!

hmm, I tried this one and seems to be working fine on our test site; can I know what is your current EM version? also, just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

Thank you! It turned out to be a conflict in my theme with how the search filter was set up in functions.php. I updated it to include Event as well as Post, etc. and its working.
