search function

  • Why if i try to search “hu” or other two letter search, i have a lor of result without have any title with this two letters ?

    And where i can see how search function work on wordpress ? Bye

  • Because the search algorithm is reading hu from any word in your wordpress install that includes them.
    Secondly if you wish to alter or see your search function, (depending on which theme you have installed) it will be in the search.php or searchpage.php file of your current theme directory.

    But if someone try to search “hu” should find result like “hungarian” “human”, not “help us”

    How many people are going to be realistically searching for “hu” in the first place?
