    Hey zoonini

    I looked that up after I posted; I understood, and still understand, that use of ‘signature‘ to be in reference to a quote or bio line etc that people often tack on under their name on the web.

    The idea that the word ‘carl‘ under a post is either cluttering or distracting to the post doesn’t seem to hold water. Signing off as

    Carl
    may all the world live as one

    is a different matter.

    IMO, of course. I could well be completely incorrect.
