search function blog

  • Hi, is there also a search function for only the blog on my website? I use categories, but maybe is there also a search function?

    At the moment, WordPress has a Search block but that pretty much it.
    We’re planning on adding a customizable search block, but I can’t promise you when the update will be available.

    We are sorry we cannot disclose it for now.

    But an alternative for your question is maybe to edit the search result page. Here is a video you can try to follow.

    change the settings of the post block to include or exclude the pages or post to your liking ??

    Thank you for the effort! But do I see it correctly that the posts are not standard visible in this case? And I think visitors dont know often to search on what terms.

    Hi,

    No, post are the default search result. On the other hand, pages are not in default search.
