Search gets 403/404 error

  • Clicking the Search button now does nothing. I see in the Javascript console that a 403 error is happening. Trying to browse the same URL produces a 404 error page (I mention this in case others see the 404 and look here).

    The plugin was working until recently, and I haven’t upgraded it, so it must be getting affected by something else. What can affect SimpleMap?

    Hmm. Found that the .htaccess generated by BulletProof Security was the problem. Does SimpleMap tinker with .htaccess?
