Search icon not visible on mobile

  • Hello,

    We have installed the Ajax search Lite and it works fine on desktop, but not at all on mobile. I cannot get the actual search icon visible on the home page (or anywhere else) and we need it to be there. We have used the Avada theme. Can this be resolved, or should we try another plug-in?

    Hi Ellen,

    Thank you for the proper details!

    The plugin is visible where it’s shortcode/widget is used, or if the theme search replacement is active, then where the theme search was visible. I see that your theme uses a separate search icon, that contains the search form. Unfortunately that icon is not affected by the plugin, you might need to as the theme author for that.

    Sometimes these themes do have a mobile menu widget area of some sort, where you should be able to place the search widget.
