• On selecting the Search menu button (centre bottom) the search box appears at the top with not content seen below due to an error in formatting.

    I have updated WordPress, Woo Commerce, and Storefront and ‘deactivated‘ the Child theme. I have also remove all extra PHP code. However the issue persists.

    .storefront-handheld-footer-bar ul li.search.active .site-search .product-search {
        position: fixed;
        top: 0;
        margin: 0;
        width: 100%;
        height: calc(100% - 4.24em);
        min-height: 50px;
        background-color: #fff;
        opacity: 1;
        text-align: center;
        padding: 0;
        margin: 0;
        border: 0;
        left: 0;
    }

    The issue seems to be related to the above CSS, but I cannot be sure. Any help in fixing what appears to be a error within Storefront would be welcome!

  • Hey there, @cheerychops! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

    I checked on my test website and I was not able to replicate this issue.

    So this is not related with a default setting or code on Storefront.

    While inspecting both your site and mine, I noticed it seems the search bar is setup differently. Do you use any plugins that can interfere with the search bar?

    Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!
