Search is not working on shop page or single product page

    I was having a problem with the search on shop and single product page returning a 404 Error. So I cloned the site so I could test what was happening.

    Strangely the cloned site works perfect. I realized the URLs are different.
    The cloned site returns this URL https://dt.designtrade.net/?s=Living+room

    The original site returns this URL https://designtrade.net/vendors/?s=Living%20room

    I have compared ever setting between the 2 sites and everything is exactly the same except The original site has a redirect from designtrade.net to designtrade.net/vendors

    Could the redirect have something to do with the changing of the different URLs. It does not do that with any other page on the site?

    Hi there,

    The redirecet can have something to do with the changing of the different URL’s. If you remove the redirect does it work? What is the purpose of the redirect initially?

    Yes it does work if I remove the redirect. The purpose of the redirect is that the page we want to be the home page is a dynamic page and in settings when I try to assign this to be home page I only get blank page since dynamic is not an option

    Could you save your permalinks under Settings > Permalinks to see if this helps?

    If not, try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Twenty and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue Here is a link that better outlines that process:

    If this fixes the issue, then re-enable each plugin one at a time, then the theme, until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.
