Hi,

Ended up rolling back to 4.8.2 and now it works well again. Search is very fast. The new version 5 is not working well on my site.

I have made some changes to the plugin to fix the issue but it is not yet released.

Could you please try using the below latest unreleased plugin version that contains a fix for the issue?
