Just to clarify, the job board search is what is not working. Not the website-wide search.

    Hi @mindylll,

    Thanks for writing to us.

We have diagnosed the issue at our end and it seems to be caused due to the alteration in search query due to the conflict with any activated plugin or theme.

We would suggest you please deactivate plugins one by one or change the theme to default twenty twenty to detect if the issue is resolved.

Feel free to reach out for further assistance.

Thanks. I found out that the plugin “Relevanssi” was conflicting. I deactivated that and now your search works. Do you know why that would be conflicting? Now that Relevanssi is deactivated, we are losing out on a feature for our site-wide search that we liked.

Also, is there a way to click “clear results” after performing a job board search to avoid having to click back to the main job board page manually?

The “Relevanssi” is conflicting with the Simple Job Board because it has either altered the global wp search query. We would recommend you to contact the “Relevanssi” team in this regard.

Unfortunately, Simple Job Board doesn’t provide such functionality, you can avail of such functionality with the help of an expert WP developer.

Feel free to reach out for further assistance.
