Search not working in Storefront Handheld Footer Bar

    Hello – thanks for the plugin!

    I have seen some unanswered topics related to search on mobile devices but I am not sure problems there are the same as mine.

    I am using Storefront with Handheld Footer Bar by Woo. It has three links – Account, Search, Cart. It is triggered to appear on iPhones etc not tablets (tablets use full size site).

    Ajax Search captures the link on the handheld menu but does not work. It does not bring up the keyboard and crashes to site on actual iPhone. Seems to work in the emulator on desktop though.

    I hope my description of the problem is clear. Can this be fixed? Alternatively, can I decouple Ajax Search from the Handheld Footer Bar somehow and link it to the Woo native search just to have a search ability quickly?

    Hello and thank you.

    Apologies for the delayed response.

    There is no easy way to display the AJAX search form on desktop and exclude it from Handheld Footer.

    To solve your issue, I need more details. Screens, website URL etc. You can contact me privately if you want.
