Search on custom types not working

  • Hello! thanks for so great and usefull plugin…

    One of my clients is experimenting some issues… basically they create a custom type called FRUIT (for example), and they put different content in… lets say we have like 50 fruits in.. but whenever we try to search for one of the items that are actually there to edit… the search comes empty saying “nonthing found”

    Could you please let us know if maybe there is anything we are missing?

    Where do you perform that search, and with what tool/query?

    You might need to check the Toolset > Post Types > your_post_type > Options, there is a setting to enable/disable the publicly queriable argument, which will, or will not allow public search queries.

    the search is done inside the WordPress dashboard… where you can enter a new post or edit the existing ones.

    Maybe it could be becuase the version is a little old???

    Client is using Versión 2.1…

    Well, Types must be updated to solve problems and receive assistance for it.

    If you search under the given Post Types > All, then you have to search for title or slug values, and that will return results, I just tested it.

    I just update the plugin…but still not working ??

    If I enter into the WordPress Dashboard… It still not working ??
