Search on listing page empty, not showing catagories

You will see when you do search there is a drop down, I want the categories there, even if nothing listed under it, so then someone can select to see a certain type of listing. I checked the code (I dont code so not sure what I was looking at) but it seemed to want to drop down Class but I dont see where to add class, only category.

1. you have posted your initial question on Friday evening (at least for me), so you have not received any reply because i do not provide support during the weekends (similarly like other plugin developers i suppose).2. the plugin is now disabled and i am not sure from your description what you would like to do, but if you would like to display Ad categories listed above or below the [adverts_list] then you can put the [adverts_categories] shortcode somewhere in your sale-items page content.
If you would like to have a category-dropdown in the [adverts_list] search bar then you can add it by installing Search By Category snippet https://github.com/simpliko/wpadverts-snippets/blob/master/search-by-category/search-by-category.php
