Search on product page not working as should

Hello.

Trying to select some items for cross-sell and up-sell on product data – link products, but is showing almost time the same products and in the limit of 20. I have a much more products and even writing a different name which just this product have on tittle or description show the same.

How to increase the limit of 20 for more or is something wrong with the searching ?
