Search option for categories of catalogue

    We do not know the way wp-catalogue plugin works, that’s why we can’t tell you fir sure, it is necessary to analyze the plugin.
    If the categories of the catalogue are custom fields, you should install and activate the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-fields-search/

    Thanks for your reply.
    I can see the option of “wpcproduct” which represents the products in the catalogues. And i can search through it also. But problem is when i select any category to search in, it also searches through ALL THE POSTS AND PAGES ALSO, while i need to search through only that category. Problem is not with Catalogue, problem is in search when i am using this plugin. Whatever category i choose to search through it also search into the Posts and Pages. May be now my problem is more clear to you.

    Our plugin makes it possible to add custom post type to a common search form, since common search searches only by posts and pages. In other words, the plugin extends the search functionality.
