    Hi,

I saw similar topics but with no real solution. First of all please note our server performance is NOT the issue here. Consider we are using the most powerful server you could ever imagine.

We have 35k orders and the “Search” function (either directly thru WP Admin or REST API reqests) is very slow.

We noticed with Query monitor plugin there are 2 queries:
    Screen: https://gyazo.com/f36a432596a867e2479e6012743b70b3

From my understand HPOS were suppose to fix this kind of issues? Why this is not the case?

    Thank you

I don’t have any suggestions but I am also following a similar performance issue at https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/41317 which may be of interest to you.

Hey there, @thibotus01! Thanks for contacting us.

As @probablynotphil mentioned, it is possible this is related to the issue reported on GitHub, which our team is already working on.

But we would like to better understand your website and investigate this further to make sure.

Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

I am having a similar issue – but performance related across the board, not just search. Thanks for that Github ticket, followed and commented.

    Hello @rhenium3,

I suggest that you start a new thread with your case, so that we don’t mix several troubleshooting sessions in one thread.

Even if the symptoms are the same, perhaps the underlying problem is different in your case.

    Thanks.

Same issues with our site. Cannot search any order numbers. We get a timeout. Hating woo right now.

Same here, when using the ‘All’ tab. Optmised my entire site, DB from 5gb to 1.5gb after using the hpos cleanup cli commands

    Still, no luck ??

    Hi @vastdesign! Hi @smgdarien!

Thank you for reaching out. I know how frustrating this issue could be cutting your workflow, but to help you find a solution and help us highlight a possible bigger issue going on, kindly create a new topic here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/woocommerce/#new-topic-0

This way, we could check your unique setup and go in-depth to find the culprit of the issue.

    Thank you.

We are looking forward to hearing from you!

Same issue here. Reached out to support and they asked me to try adding a PHP snippet to remove searching by the billing details. Didn’t help, so following this thread for any potentional fixes

Currently can only search via Order ID, Customer Email/Name & Products. Using the ‘All’ sorting method is extremly slow ~ and I’m running a load balanced 5x 8vCPU VPS + dedicated database

    Hi @smgdarien,

I can see that this thread was marked as resolved due to inactivity from the thread starter.

In that case, I suggest creating a new thread with your case for further troubleshooting, and we would be happy to help you from there.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.
