I’m using Twenty Fourteen in my website and when entering it shows first the “there’s nothing in here, try search” -page instead of homepage. How can I fix it? I think I’ve accidentally removed the frontpage template had and created another one which isn’t working now. The page I’d like to have as a frontpage, has an addres like https://www.pagename.com/pagename – there shouldn’t be that pagename twice if I’m right? And yes, I’ve tried organizing pages alphabetically and with numbers, without results. Any ideas?

Have you selected your chosen page to be your homepage via the Settings > Reading menu?

    Hope this helps.
