    After installing the plugin our search results page shows only one item, three on the next page, then two, then four, etc., but the customer will initially see one product, and presumably not go to next page.
    After deactivating the AR plugin the Search Results Page works flawlessly.
    How? ?Why? What?

    I have not come across this issue.

    There maybe a conflict between one of your other plugins or your theme and the AR plugin. Can you please try disabling some of your other plugins and turn off any javascript minifying settings and see if that solves the issue.
