Search page for results not found not validating

  • Hi

    After spending ages working through my pages to get everything validated im almost there. The only page in my theme that doesn’t validate now is the search results page if NO results are found. The reason for this according to W3 is that the search form in my sidebar and the search form in the main content area share the same ids. How can I get around this (possibly adding a class to the searchform.php file)?

    Can I do something as simple as changing the id’s on the searchform.php file and renaming as searchform1.php and importing it?
