Search placeholder not showing the translated text

Hi there!

Firstly, thanks for developing OceanWP! That’s one of the best free themes I’ve ever seem and my favorite one, I am using it in ~20 sites already.

I’m having trouble with default’s search bar placeholder. File pt_BR.po is translated and inside the correct directory, but it still shows “Search” instead of showing the translated text. That happens on every site that I use OceanWP and affects all search forms. I’m not using a child theme.

What I’ve tried:
– Already searched here on the forum and all over documentation, but nothing worked so far;
– WP, theme and all plugins are updated;
– Disabled all plugins;
– Checked the translation through POeditor, made changes and uploaded again;
– Installed “Loco Translate”, made changes, saved;
– Tried the function prefix_translate_text that I found at this thread;
– Configured pt_BR language both in the Settings and wp-config file;

I don’t want to change it directy on the code because an update may overwrite it in the future.

Help would be most welcome. Any thoughts?
