On napaausa.org when searching for a restricted page instead of the search results showing the page as an option (even though it is restricted) it redirects to the login page and will not show the search results. I have disabled the content restriction plugin and it disables this behavior. Ideally the plugin would allow the results to be returned in the search and then clicking on the link would then notify the user that this is restricted content and they must login to view it.The link above to my site you can click on the magnifying glass and do a search for 990. When logged in it returns the search results (one of which is a restricted page). When not logged in it asks you to login before showing the results of the search.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @michaelimi

    Thank you for writing in.

That is the default behavior when the protection setting is using a redirect URL.

Please update the protection settings to Custom Message if you’d like to show a message first, and add a login link in your custom message.

Our developers are also currently working on improvements for Content Control, so there might be things to look forward to in the future updates.

    We hope that helps.

Let us know how that goes, or if you have questions.

    Hi there,

I’m going to mark this as resolved as we haven’t heard from you in a while.

Feel free to create a new thread if you have other questions.

    Thanks!
