search result layout

  • Hi!
    I want the search result page to be like the archive page.
    I use hatch theme.
    The site is a collection of videos; the homepage, which is an archive page, shows videos with a preview thumbnail.
    The search result shows a list of post titles: I managed to hide informations like author date etc.
    I tried to replicate in style.css all .archive lines with .search as someone suggested on another post but thumbnails and title don’t show up.
    Does anybody know how to solve this?
