• Hello everyone! I’m currently using the Accountra theme to design a WordPress website and have implemented Ajax Search Lite for search functionality. Despite configuring the plugin to include page search in its settings, I’ve noticed that when performing a search, it only returns results from posts. How can I go about resolving this issue?

  • Hi @rezabazzi94,

sorry for the late response. That happened because the Gutenverse search result page only showed a post block. You can edit the search result page, then duplicate the post block, and set the post type to page. Here I will provide a video on how to do it.

    Hi @gowinda

    Thank you immensely.
    You’ve been incredibly helpful.
I have a few other matters, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance with those too, if possible.

Issue 1: I aimed to alter the colour of the sticky header on the site while scrolling, but there seems to be no straightforward option in Gutenverse to achieve this. I appreciate your assistance with this issue.

Issue 2: I created the site forms using Contact Form 7 and applied the CSS code (shown in the first photo) to achieve my desired style. However, in the second photo, the squares at the bottom of the form are positioned at the top instead of next to the sentences. I appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue.

    issue 3:

The subsequent issue I’m facing is that the forms aren’t being sent, and an error message occurs (as seen in photo 2). Despite activating Confirmation Mail to User (SMTP) by Gotenverse settings (as shown in photo 1) and installing the WP Mail SMTP plugin similarly (utilizing the Amazon SES email option in the WP Mail SMTP plugin settings, with the server being Amazon AWS Lightsail), I still encounter an error message (as depicted in photo 3).
Your assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated, as the majority of our tasks are centred around the submission of forms by individuals providing the necessary information.

    Hi?@gowinda

Issue 4: I’ve been unable to locate a method to edit the mobile and tablet modes (similar to what’s available in Elementor) within Gotenverse. The only similar option for mobile and tablet modes appears to be in the customize section, as shown in the photos. Additionally, while the text is present in desktop mode, it’s missing in mobile mode, necessitating edits to the mobile portion. However, it seems impossible to edit the mobile mode within the Gutenverse Customize section. Thank you very much for assisting me with this issue.

Issue 5: The final issue concerns the bilingual nature of the website, with English being the primary language (photo 1) and Italian as the secondary language (photo 2). I utilized the free version of the Polylang plugin for this purpose. However, a problem arises where all pages are translated into Italian and displayed correctly in Italian mode, except for the homepage. Although the main page is translated into Italian, when navigating to the Italian version of the site and accessing the settings section of the WordPress dashboard, specifically the reading section, and setting the static page to the Italian main page, the Italian main page is displayed in English (photo 4), and the reading settings for the English section are disrupted (photo 5).

Ultimately, I express my deep gratitude for your guidance and assistance in resolving these issues. Thank you, and best wishes to you.

    Hi

I have replied for the first issue in your single thread, please check that out ??

Sorry for the late respond again. So I will try my best to assist you issue per issue.

Issue 2: We do not usually give support for custom CSS or Script, but I will give this one an exception. since I cannot directly check your site to see the styling, I can only speculate on why the checkboxes in not in the right place.

    • the checkboxes are also registered as input so, in your CSS when you set the style for input and text area to have 100% width the checkboxes also have 100% width and take their own line. maybe instead of using input, you can check the class name or ID of the element that you want to have 100% width.
    • try to use “display: inline” for the element, you can search for what display inline does and how to use it.

issue 3: From what we see from the screenshot that you provided. It seems something is missing in your SMTP setting that makes the WP SMTP doesn’t have the authorization to send the email using the settings you provide. Try sending a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Tools > Send Email Test > change the Send To Field to your testing email > Click Send Email.

issue 4: I have given you an answer in the single thread you created in Gutenverse support, please check that out :).

issue 5: Polylang Plugin only translates the pages and the post. Some of our Page example frontpage is are fully created inside the template. This is why the homepage doesn’t translate

    Thank you immensely.
    You’ve been incredibly helpful.

What should I do for issue number 5? If I get the pro version of polylang, will the problem be solved? Can you introduce another plugin that can solve issue 5?

I need to solve problem number 5 as soon as possible
    Thank you for guiding me

    Hi,

We are not really familiar with polylang plugin, but I have checked their documentation and it seems they have an explanation on how to translate the front page (https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1079-how-to-translate-themes#translate-strings). Try checking that out

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your help and guidance. The issue related to the multilingual of the site has been fixed.

However, for issue number 3 (SMTP), I conducted the email test and the response shown in the picture was sent. As I mentioned earlier, I am using the Amaron AWS LightSail server for the site. In the WP SMTP plugin settings, I have selected the Amazon SES option and entered the account and password that I have there in the plugin settings. Despite this, the problem persists.

Could you please advise on how to solve this issue?

Once again, thank you for your assistance in this matter.

    Warm regards,

    Hi,

I am sorry, but once again I am not familiar with each specific service. But as suggested by WordPress, triple-check your SMTP settings. Try checking this article (https://www.acymailing.com/amazon-ses-smtp-for-wordpress/). The API key is usually needed for permissions to authenticate, make sure you are inputting the correct one.
