Search result problem

Just updated a live site to the lastest version. Search works but the results heading that shows number of listings found shows (0) when there are plenty pf results displayed.
The results heading is also all in lower case – how to capitalise the first letter i.e. London(x) instead of london(x)
Also – how to reduce the font size of the new style listings as they are huge and only allow 5 listings on one page now?

The fonts are now huge compared to previous versions. The attached file is the actual size on screen when you click on it in Imgur.I’d like to reduce the font size for the Search Names.
