    Hey,

I am aware of the “Global Search Results / Main Site RSS Feed Item Layout” features, and how to turn on links to show in search engines.

My query is that there is no option I can find to edit the excerpt or set it to tell which part of the page to pull from.

In Rank Math there is an option to make sure the pages are setting an excerpt https://imgur.com/a/ROrjnJs but there seems to be no specific “excerpt” to pull from in code.

If you see in search results. By default. Google is just pulling random data from links https://imgur.com/a/7s7vkR9 to fulfil the need for an excerpt.

Wordpress itself, the main editor, does not show excerpt option to edit it manually https://imgur.com/a/XXfpYDF. Linklibrary is not compatible with elementor in terms of individual page editing so I can’t check the URL excerpt myself through that method either.

    Any advice would be useful.

    Thanks,

    – Siren

Sorry for such a long time before replying to your question. My work life has been quite hectic over the past few months. I just added a new option under the Global Options section to be able to display the excerpt section in the link editor. I hope this addition will help you get better search results appearing on your site, if you’re still using Link Library. This is available in version 7.3.12.
