Search results in google are showing the wrong search results page

    the link above shows what Google is showing, it is the ugly unstyled version of the directly by geographic area. I want to show this page. https://nzbowentherapy.org.nz/search-practitioners/?wpbdp_view=search, which then gives the viewer the opportunity to search by name, or region. How can I do this please? I went into the settings for Directory/General/SEO and toggled on “Remove listing ID from URLs for better SEO”, but I don’t know if this has fixed it until Google updates its results.

    Thank you for your question. Business Directory Plugin doesn’t have a setting that controls what pages show in Google search results unfortunately. Are you using an SEO plugin? If so, that would more likely have some settings for which pages get picked up by search engines.

    Another thought would be to do this directly in your Google Search Console. I found this article that may help: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9689846?hl=en
