Search results url

Hi,
I am working on a clients site and I would like to clean up the search results url. Like if I were to search for store locations in los angeles it will display a url like https://www.example.com/listings/?search_keywords=los+angeles&search_location=&use_search_radius=on&search_radius=50&search_lat=&search_lng=&search_region=&search_context=6&filter_job_type%5B%5D=.
I would like to clean it up to say something like https://www.example.com/listings/los-angeles or something that would be a little more SEO and user friendly.
If it helps any the website is using the theme listify and its child theme.
