Search shortcode

  • I would like to add search option in topbar, im using for it [oceanwp_search] code in topbar content. But there are some issues with search results -> I’ve set results to posts only but it doesn’t work with shortcode – it works well with menu search icon only.

    Results from shortcode include pages.

    i found soltuion if someone is looking for it just paste the code below in functions.php

    function ScanWPostFilter($query) {
    if ($query->is_search) {
    $query->set(‘post_type’, ‘post’);
    }
    return $query;
    }
    add_filter(‘pre_get_posts’,’ScanWPostFilter’);
