Search Snippet now has author name

Please send us a screenshot so that we may better understand where is the author name. Is it part of the title or written under it?

You can take a screenshot by using either 3rd party tools that you’d like to use (i.e. CloudApp) and share the screenshot link here with us.

In addition, please also share some example URLs where the issue remains occurring for you so that we can take a look at them.

We checked on the URL https://www.rawassertions.com/the-african-migrants-in-israel-hard-facts/ and we did find that the <title> tag that was set didn’t contain the author name.

It’s very possible that Google is outputting a different title which includes the author name. To learn more about this, you can refer to this article — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/google-shows-different-titles-for-my-site/

Ultimately search engines will, as you have seen, make the final decision on what they show in their search results. Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you can do to force Google to display the preferred title. The best advice we can provide, unfortunately, is to try different titles.
