Search specific categories

  • Hello is it possible to customise the search functionality so that it will search only specific categories and subcategories??

    So in the example below I would only want to search say Vehicles and its subcategories and exclude Animals and it’s subcategories from the results.
    Vehicles
    -cars
    -bikes

    Animals
    -cats
    -dogs

    Thank you ??

    This isn’t how the wordpress search works, and this theme doesn’t edit the wordpress search function. You can try to use a plugin but I don’t know of any that do what your saying.
