• Hi all,

I’ve used search, and Google, but couldn’t find the answer that could help me solve this with the knowledge I have at least.

I’ll first explain the setup, then the problem. Link to my site should appear under “link to the page you need help with”.

    SETUP:
    Using theme “Catch Base”.
Set up custom search with google, and set it for the site (gives more relevant results). Applied it by making a separate page for the search results, and by editing the theme’s file “searchform.php” (under: wp-content/themes/catch-base).
Deleted all the data in the file and paseted the Google code.
    That part works fine.

    THE PROBLEM.
There is no search button when viewing the site from mobile devices. I’ll include screenshots. Search bar on desktop version is in the top right corner (spyglass).

Problem has been present even before editing the searchform.php. Just provided the data for all I did to give full info in case that does matter. But, like I said, the problem has been there before the change of search, and still remains. Search button and option work just fine in desktop mode, like they always have (only better now ?? ).

    Additional question:
is there a way to change the spyglass size/colour/backgroubd?
At least for the desktop version.

Not prepared to make a child theme – seens complicated. Unless I really have to. Fund it easier to write down the changes and re-apply them when uptading the theme.

Thanks in advance for any help.
