Search taxonomy fields

    Hi,

    Is there any way to get search results from taxonomy terms? It works grate for post_type but not for taxonomies.

    The plugin supports searching posts. Want to filter posts based on terms? Can you answer your question exactly?

    Yeah, but i want to search taxonomies as well not only posts. For example, i want to search all taxonomies by Hair Color “Brown” https://i.imgur.com/ysz6KAE.png

    Thanks for explanation. Such a thing is unfortunately impossible. This type of query to the database would be too complicated and too slow.

    Oh, now i see in database why it is impossible.

    You can probably do this with WP Extended search. ie search posts content including any taxonomies. Or perhaps create a taxonomy ‘hair color’ and brown would be a tag.
