Search Widget causing footer to display

    Hi there!

    I was able to disable the footer on my posts page by editing the page. I also want the functionality to be able to search my posts. I added the search widget to the page, however this causes the footer to re-enable when the search results come up. The same thing happens with the archives widget. Is there a way around this?

    Figured it out for my purposes! Create a blank footer menu. This will just create a blank bar at the bottom, which can be used across the whole website. This is fine for my use.
