Search widget doesn't work?

  • Installed the new version of Anspress wich is both cool and very functional( now I don’t have that bootstrap compatibility issues), I like the idea of having a profile so I wont need to install buddypress too for that task but I noticed one problem.

    I don’t know if it occurs only on my site or it’s a general issue but the search widget doesn’t work. When I start typing, I don’t get any suggestions from the posted questions but from my articles.

    And one small thing that’s missing to be perfect, a widget to output a list of questions( sorted by popularity, category or new/old questions).

    Nope, it’s not fixed. When start typing I still get suggestions based on my published articles not my questions and more than that the suggested articles have no conection with the typed words.

    More that that with the latest dev version when I try to open a question I get 500 Internal Server Error

    I don’t get any error. The plugin just doesn’t search trough my querstions but my published articles( questions being ignored). Took my site out of maintenance mode, you can take a look here https://blogshot.ro/intrebari/

    As you see I also have a compatibility problem between Anspress and my current theme( if you click the logo to go home you’ll see how everything should look) but it has nothing to do with the search. I encountered that with other themes, it just doesn’t work ??

    We have the same issue. And the search result always return as “No question asked yet!, be the first to ask a question.” Same thing for the Related Questions widget. I have already posted in your Github page. Please let me know if you need any related info.

    This is a weird issue, as dont see this issue in any of my site. It will be very helpful if anybody can share their site for investigation
