Search widget not working with Enfold theme

  • Hello Agent Evo,

    Fantastic plugin that works excellent! I’m currently using your plugin for a real estate client and I was just wondering if there is anyway you could help me get the listing search to work with the Enfold theme. I have racked my brain and Google to try to find an answer to this problem…with no luck.

    I know it’s not your plugin that isn’t working because I activated the default 2014 theme and the widget search worked just fine. When I use the widget on the enfold theme however, it doesn’t display any listings and the sidebar is the only thing that is displayed in the body of the page. When I use the search form supplied by enfold, it does bring up listings if I use the correct terms, but it seems like enfold search results page isn’t talking to the plugin or isn’t recogonizing the custom post type on the search results page. Any help would be greatly appreciated…

    I am WP Listings customer too

    Your problem is not for this forum
    You need to edit your theme
    And if your site is online give me link to your problem

    Thank you for your response. I realize that it is a theme issue, but I would really appreciate it if you could take a look and maybe spot something that I can’t see.

    If you try to use the WP listings search widget on this page at the bottom of the right sidebar, you will see what I’m talking about. The search page comes up blank….

    Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated!

    I would contact the theme developer. We don’t have a copy of that theme to test with, but it appears the theme may be modifying/filtering the default WP search queries.
