Search Widget- search shows “Private” pages!

    Hello!
    I was shocked to see that doing a search with the Search Widget displayed Pages that had their visibility set to “Private.”
    There is no way I want these pages seen by the general public. (Many are Pages under construction, or are partially finished and abandoned, etc.)
    Can this be fixed?

    were you not logged in as WP admin when you searched via the widget by any chance?

    Yes! You nailed it and and thank you. When not logged in as Admin, the Private Pages did NOT show.
