Search with woocommerce active does not search for posts

    I’m making a site for a client with a free blocksy theme and I noticed that the standard search only gives results for woocommerce? It doesn’t show search results for posts? If I turn off the search for products in the search options – then it only sees posts…. the intention is for it to search for both posts and products…. or is it only with me that it doesn’t work?

    Hmm, I just verified this workflow on my end and it seemed to work correct here. I’m thinking that you might have some kind of plugin installed that might modify the search queries.

    Could you check these out for me?

    Hey, that’s right, I also checked on another bokcksy installation and acct works fine. The problem certain was probably left from the previous admin and 100% somewhere in woocommerce…. I disabled all plugins – left woocommerce – does not search for words in posts…. I disabled Woocommerce – it searches…. Magic! It seems that I will just move the products and posts to a new installation of wordpress and woocommerce (especially since there will be no store just a catalog with queries)…. But thanks for your interest ??

    Are you sure it is WooCommerce alone? There might be an additional plugin that’s changing this workflow that is related to WooCommerce.

    Maybe it would be worth checking those?
