Searches(kinda) but does not Replace

First of all thank you for creating this free plugin and supporting it.
I am having an issue with the plugin. I am on WP 4.1 hosted at WPEngine.com.
When I try the Global Search for a simple text string which is on many pages of content the result says if cannot find anything matching.
When I select the Content “Field: post_content Table: _posts” option and perform Search in the lower box it gives me 16 results matched.
When I then add a replacement string to the second(not-global) Replace box it does the search again but does not replace with the new text.
I have tried uninstalling, deleting all files, and reinstalling a few times but get the same result.
