searching a hook for User->subscribe()

    Hi there,

    i am looking for the best way to send a file after the successfull subscribe action, especially to send automatically a pdf -attachment after the double-optin process. Are there hooks for this purpose?
    At the moment i see the only chance to modify the subscribe() function of the class User.php but this would lead to troubles with any update

    Any hints?

    Thank you for your answer. Unfortunally it does not solve my problem or i do not see the clou.
    I am looking for a way to send a greeting email quite after the user finished the double-optin. And of course the pdf must not to be attached, but i will provide a link to the file.

    Did you find a solution to your problem.
    I have the same kind of question : I would like to perform an action (call a web service) after a successful subscribe action.

    Is there any way to do so without modifying the core plugin ?

    Hi Marc
    sorry for my late reply.
    I found nothing to this issue.
    Caused by the small budget, our workaround was using a link to a PDF in the success mail and change the PDF from time to time.
