Searching for a suitable featured post slider

    I’m looking for a slider plugin for my website.

    I’ve already tried a number of plugins, but unfortunately none of them have all the features I’d like:

    • Pull featured image from selected post categories on my website
    • Include post title, extract and a “read more” link in the description
    • Navigation with unannotated thumbnails

    Essentially, I’m looking for the free equivalent of the slider used in the (premium) GameNow theme.

    Any suggestions?

    I’ve opted for a manual install of a NivoSlider, just in case anyone reads this.
