Searching through Archives

  • I assume this has been covered before, but I got about 20 pages when I tried to search, so here goes…
    Are there any more search options than the simple search textarea and submit button that come with the default index.php page? I know how to make other form elements, but I don’t know what “name” values to assign.

    One more thing… in WP, what’s the equivalent of configuring MT’s search_templates files? Like, configuring what happens when search results were successfully found, when none were found, etc.
