I have what I believe to be a generic question. I use the Listeo theme and am able to add searchable keywords for specific Listings. The problem is that the searches currently need to be very specific.

For example, let’s say that I have the following searchable keywords: print, printer, printing. If someone performs the search for one of the those words ONLY, I get results. However, I would like for more generic searchings to include those words.

For example, based on my keywords above, I would like someone to perform the following search and still get results: unable to print. At the moment, no results are found because (I am assuming) that phrase does not exist as a keyword.

    Does that make sense?

How do you add those keywords?

Try one of the extended search plugins like Relevanssi, too.

@sterndata thank you for your response.

I add the keywords by going into Listings –> All Listings –> select a listing –> scroll down to Custom Fields, where I added a custom keywords field.

Regarding Relevanssi, I am willing to try a plugin (which I did before; a different one), the problem is that it required me to place a shortcode somewhere that I was unable to figure out because the Listeo theme does not have a search shortcode (if there is such a thing for this theme) within a “Pages” like I would have assumed.

    Thoughts?

This seems to be related to a plugin you’re using for listings. What plugin is that? I suggest posting a question in their support area.

@sterndata I truly appreciate your help. I will try them AGAIN, but they were not helpful, which is why I turned to here. Thank you!
