Searching with part of the zip code

  • how to modify the search to get following results:

    search only database from members
    and only member field ZIPCODE (field has 5 digits)

    the search input from user will have mostly 5 digits, example “12345”
    but the search should run always only with the first 2 digits, example “12”,
    so the result will show all members with zipcode 12***

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delayed reply!

    This request required some custom work. Because this plugin is mean to extend the search fields of default WP search but can not alter the way WP search.
    I hope you understand.
