• Hello everyone
On a page I have a huge table/list (potentially) of coaches’ details, and I am looking for a plugin or code snippet which will let me search within the page and give me a nice little table/output/set of results at the top of the page to help people find the coach they’re looking for, based on area, level of expertise and so on (all of which details will be in the list)
Is there such a thing? I think the company is happy to pay if required – and ‘Search In Place’ is not quite up to the task.
    All help welcomed, as ever
    Andrew

  • How are you building these tables/lists? TablePress, Ninja Tables and severe other table pugins have this search/filtering feature built-in.

Aside: If you’re building a sports-related site, take a look at the super-awesome SportsPress plugin.

Hello George, I hope you’re well
It’s currently just a list – plain text, one coach per row. Do you think it’s worth a plugin? Which is best in your opinion?
Sadly we’re not regarded as a sport – [ Link moved to link field ]. This is the existing page, the replacement will be as described with more details for each coach. I am a little wary of tables with lots of columns because of how they can misbehave on smartphones.
