    Hello

I currently use the search plugin Relevanssi for use of word searching generally across my site. A user has also suggested, however, that for one of my pages, it would be useful to have functionality that searches specifically within that page in a manner similar to that achievable with ‘Ctrl-F’, although possibly a little more sophisticated. I would welcome suggestions on WordPress plug-ins that may assist in achieving this outcome.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi margmacd
There are plugins available that use the Google indexing to list content. You could search for one of those to test this on your site. (it would only list content that is on your website)
Here is a list with different search plugins and tips.

Thanks for replying, just2ronald. I am unconvinced that the link you suggest really provides a solution to my need to have a complementary search function which can be placed on a single page and which searches only within that page in a manner similar to that achievable with the keyboard command ‘Ctrl-F’.
