    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Indeed, something on your site is loading the jQuery JS library from the Google CDN, instead of using the version that ships with WordPress.
To confirm that this is your theme, where you should then be able to find the mentioned lines of code in the theme’s “functions.php” file, can you please test if this also happens after switching to a WordPress default theme like TwentyFifteen?

Yes, it also happens when I switch themes. I have a “use google libraries” plugin that uses Google CDN which is probably what is causing it. I tried to just deactivate it, but the code must not have been removed, because it is still doing it. Do you think deleting the plugin altogether would help?

Nevermind, I tried that too. Still nothing.

    Hi,

ah, yes, that plugin could be it. Please try deactivating it and then also clear the cache of the WP Super Cache plugin that you are using.

Yeah. I did that too. Still nothing. Sorry I’m being s pain. I’ve used ur plugin with no issues before. I need to figure out what coding that plugin installed and remove it.

    Hi,

then please leave that plugin deactivated so that I can see what’s going on even without it.

Damn. I removed it. Should I reinstall it?

    Hi,

no, if it’s removed that is also fine ??

However, I’m still seeing jQuery being loaded from the Google CDN, so either the cache is not cleared properly, or something else (the theme or another plugin) is still loading jQuery from there…

    Tobias

Damn. Ok. Ill try a few more things. My cache plugin had a CDN option, maybe I have that activated. Thanks again. Worst case, I’ll go plugin by plugin and deactivate them to figure out which one it is.

    Hi,

yes, that will be the best process to find the cause for this.

Just an FYI, in case anyone else has issue with this. The plugin that was causing the issue was “Speed Booster Pack”. Ironically when I disabled it, my GTmetrix score actually went up, which is what the plugin is supposed to help you with in the first place.

    Hi,

nice find! Good to hear that you found the cause for this! ??

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
