I set up a private blog in a folder on a website and got it working ok.

Now we have added a business blog to the same site but in a separate folder.

Each blog has its own database, etc. There is only one htaccess file and it is in the root directory.

The second blog all seems to be working fine, but the first blog has some issues. Every time you click on a post (in the menu or in the main page) or on no/1/.. comments it takes you to the error page of the second blog.

I have no idea what to do to make the first blog work again – anybody got any ideas please?

  • Every WP installation is supposed to have its own .htaccess file – if you are using nice permalinks on all of them!

    Thanks for answering Moshu.

Does that mean an htaccess file in each folder or multiple htaccess files in the root directory? If the later, do I have to name them differently?
