Second blog within addon domain

  • I have created an addon domain (www.addon.myblog.com) and have set up the ftp for it. I’ve tranferred a copy of my current theme to it for now, and I’m working on creating an original theme for it.

    I am wondering a few things…

    1. How to get a new WP username and dashboard without reinstalling everything.

    2. How to clear the archives etc from the one I am editing so that I have a blank palette to begin with.

  • I am not sure I can follow you with this one…
    What you typed above looks more like a subdomain than a domain.
    Anyway – just copying over the WP files will not help. Another domain means a new install. Period.
