    Was told to post this here instead of the other section I originally posted:

    Hi all,

    I have a CSV product catalogue I import directly via the products tab on my wordpress account. First import is successful so I assume all columns and data format is correct. Second attempt after not changing anything fails. This is despite selecting the Update Existing Products checkbox – “Existing products that match by ID or SKU will be updated. Products that do not exist will be skipped.”

    Hi there,

    Judging by the screenshot you shared, it looks like the product IDs might be incorrect. When importing products the first time around, WordPress will try to assign the product ID you chose (i.e. 1). However, if that ID is already used by another post/page/product, then another the next available ID will be used instead.

    With this in mind, can you confirm the product ID for the “Sword & Shield Astral Radiance” product is indeed 1?

    Hey mate,

    Thanks for your reply. In my Excel the first column is dedicated to ID. The “Sword & Shield Astral Radiance” product is allocated 1 in the spreadsheet.

    Is it Easier to just remove the ID column? Will this resolve it?

    You can try removing it or assigning a random number not yet added to the existing product list.
